Intermodal Sales is one of the nation's largest
intermodal marketing companies. We maintain contracts
with all major railroads in the United States and Canada,
as well as, all domestic steamship stacktrains. This
enables our clients to significantly reduce their
transportation costs as a direct result of our
partnerships and strong contractual standing with the
railroads.
Nationwide Intermodal Service
Service between any two points within the United States,
Canada or Mexico whether via TOFC, stacktrain or highway.
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
ISC operates a state of the art EDI system, enabling us
to meet many levels of technology requirements. Our EDI
capabilities include load billing, load status, load
tender, and invoicing. Whatever your EDI needs, ISC has
the system that will work for you.
Competitive Rates
All our services are offered at competitive rate levels,
based on the "value-added" services provided.
Rates are reflective of our strong contractual standing
with all major railroads.
Full, Customized Service
ISC handles shipments from start to finish, eliminating
the need to occupy customer personnel with the
"details" of billing, coordinating, and tracing
shipments.
Single Freight Bill
Our customer receives one freight bill for our services,
with 30 days to pay. This saves the time and expense of
matching several billings to a shipment, and allows
additional time for payment of freight charges, as
opposed to the 7 days required by other carriers.
Tracing
Through our computer link with various railroads, our
tracing department traces every trailer, everyday, thus
providing current equipment location when needed.
Local Drayage
ISC has arranged contracts / agreements with hundreds of
drayage companies nationwide. This enables us to offer a
better service package and allows the opportunity of
using your preferred drayman when requested. Our
excellent partnerships with draymen allow us to cover
last minute or same day pickups.
Over The Road Service
In keeping with our commitment to better serve our
customers, ISC has expanded our highway services
division. Whether you need time sensitive J.I.T.
deliveries, specialized equipment, or ship in short haul
lanes, we can handle your over the road shipments. We
have established a qualified and diverse base of regional
and national carriers that will enable us to more
efficiently handle your over the road trucking needs.
Volume Commitment
Unlike other carriers, we require no volume commitments
to utilize our services. However, volume commitments can
often produce lower transportation costs.
Personalized Services
Each ISC office maintains its own operations staff,
allowing our customers the flexibility to design and
customize their own service programs. Your ISC
representative is a professional, dedicated to easing
your transportation concerns and making life easier.
